Breakaway balcony adjoin?

Anyone know if you get adjoining family balcony rooms if the balconies are also adjoining?

Likely they are. They do not always want to open them up, however a few minutes, a corkscrew and three wooden coffee stirrers will do the trick!!!!!!

We opened them up ourselves on our last Breakaway cruise in Oct 2013. We were then told by our room steward to close them as they weren't permitted to be open. I'm hopeful that we will be able to open them on our upcoming March Breakaway cruise.

We just got off the Breakaway today after the 12-day cruise. We had adjoining rooms on deck 12. The balconies were easily opened and our steward never mentioned that we shouldn't have them open. We found that a small nail clipper worked fine to open the square hole.
