CRUZ-AHOLIC Posted November 28, 2005 #26 Share Posted November 28, 2005 Labadee was my least favorite port as well...think it had something to do with the incessant 'headhunter jungle drumbeat' accompanied by the 'singer' shouting unintelligible chants through a horrible sound system. ALL DAY LONG!!!! Yech! Well, coming in April we'll be making the 'return to Voodoo Island', so we're doing things quite a bit differently...getting off the ship to do the Waverunners, then heading right back to the ship again. As a side note to any who are interested in RCI's waverunners, they have changed the way they charge for these, and it reflects an increase of course. Instead of one set price for the waverunner, now there's a charge for 'Waverunner-Driver' ($89), PLUS a charge of $29 for 'Waverunner-passenger'. Shorebirdee Posted November 29, 2005 #27 Share Posted November 29, 2005 For all of the above, it is probably ok to book while on shore. If you have not been before, you will get to see the areas first and make your choices. They limit the number of people allowed in each area at one time to keep from overcrowding, so you may need to set up a time and return later. Sometimes if there is not a waiting list, they let you stay a little longer than scheduled.:o Thanks. This was a very helpful review. We were particularly concerned as to whether or not we would have to book Luc's ahead of time for the little kids. I didn't think we did, but just wasn't sure. Isn't it unbelievable what some people do while they are on vacation - when they are supposed to be relaxing and having a good time. We need more people like you on board.:D
