It's so much a day. My adult, with tax and 15% gratuity was like $51 for an 8 night cruise. Believe me, I got my money's worth. Children are less and you only purchase for whom wants it. They put a sticker on your S&S card.

What I do NOT like is they've gone to a swipe card and sign ticket - which of course has a line for tip - for every drink you get at the bars. I had two full pages of either no cost or just the tip that I sometimes added for our cruise. Hubby didn't get it as he doesn't drink very many and just got his own. Think with tip is works out to about $2 per can of whatever (Diet Coke for him).

While I have no problem with my S&S card swiped - it keeps up with number of sodas on the plan - I do resent the receipt with tip line after already paying 15% at time of purchase of the plan. Yes, I usually will tip something extra and that does go to the one actually serving you instead of into a pool to be divided so it's not that I won't do an extra tip if I wish.

Not only is the tip line aggravating when you have already tipped, but having to sign is aggravating. I don't want to sign for something that is $0

Are you allowed to tip with cash? If people want to leave extra tip they should leave the cash or ask specifically to have their card run to leave a tip. They need to go away from signing for every single thing. I get it for any thing that costs but stuff already paid for? You won't argue a $0 charge.
