If you plan to carry your own luggage on and off this will not apply to you.

 

However, it is worth knowing that most cruise-lines collect your luggage for disembarkation some time during the last night. This means that you would need to have an overnight bag with you so that you can carry off what you have used since the bags were collected. Don't forget to leave yourself something to wear on the final morning!
