bearwholovestotravel Posted February 22, 2015 #26 Share Posted February 22, 2015 I didn't go for a meet and greet on Carnival...as I didn't know about these cruise critic forums... The meet and greet I went on in Getaway was nice...officers were present. There were snacks and drinks for everybody. However, the one I went on recently on a Carnival was organized by a Facebook group. No officers were present. But we had fun. They had the door decorating competition, home town gift swaps, mardi gras dress competition, slot pull, etc.

Cruise_More_Often Posted February 22, 2015 #30 Share Posted February 22, 2015 The Sun continues to be our favotite ship, but we have only cruised in suites twice and in a minisuite once. The minisuites on the Sun are much larger than on other ships in NCL's fleet, especially those on the stern, so try to grab one if you can. We have cruised on a number of lines -- three Princess cruises as well -- but we always return to NCL with big smiles on our faces. There's just something wonderfully comfortable about cruising with NCL.
