Cruisin&Relaxin Posted February 25, 2015 #2 Share Posted February 25, 2015 Does anyone know the prices of internet while on the ship or internet packages cost? NCL's website would be a good place to start. http://www.ncl.com/about/staying-connected-sea-internet-access
Guindalf Posted February 25, 2015 #3 Share Posted February 25, 2015 It's 75 cents per minute on a PAYG basis or less for a package. Remember that on average, it will be slower than dial-up, so no Skype (which is blocked anyway) or other video chat calls!
warriorking Posted February 25, 2015 #4 Share Posted February 25, 2015 In my experience the speeds are so slow posting a simple Email was like pulling teeth...Save your money, its not worth it...
Rhea98 Posted February 25, 2015 #5 Share Posted February 25, 2015 (edited) They do run specials (same prices as listed but extra minutes). Certain times were better than others (early morning, for one). Epic does not (didn't in Nov) have the faster speeds I've heard about on the two newest ships. What I found to be the slowest was signing out--usually about 3 minutes every time although I never tracked if I was charged for those minutes. Carnac767 Posted February 25, 2015 #6 Share Posted February 25, 2015 250 minutes for $100 is best package but again, painfully slow. If you're nostalgic for dial-up speeds, you'll love it.
xriva Posted February 25, 2015 #7 Share Posted February 25, 2015 Does anyone know the prices of internet while on the ship or internet packages cost? The 100 & 250 minute packages will come with free minutes if you're a Latitudes member and if you purchase the first day. However, if you sign up on your device, you will need to go to the Internet Cafe to get your extra minutes added to your account. It is not the fastest Internet connection, as others have said.
