Transfer from Piraeus to Athens airport, Greece

We will be arriving at Piraeus aboard the Odyssey on April 24th and would like to know if Seabourn (the staff in Seattle does not have this information) arranges group bus transfers for those passengers going directly to the Athens airport verses those taking a city tour then going to the airport or remaining in Athens. On our Norway cruise last year on the Legend, we were pleasantly surprised when Seabourn offered a VERY reasonably priced transfer to the Copenhagen Airport.

We are on the same trip and would expect that there will be a transfer directly to the airport leaving the ship at approx. 9.00am.

If we are not happy with the timings once we get on board we will book a private transfer with Georges Taxis. We have used them in the past and cost 2 years ago was 60 Euros from port to airport.

Just book a private taxi on line before you sail, approx cost 55 euros.

Just Google Transfers from Piraeus to Athens airport.

We have done it many times and it is quite easy, also you don't have to wait around till all the people are off the ship.

On the numerous occasions we disembarked/embarked in Piraeus, there is always a Seabourn transfer available from the ship. We have never taken it as it works out more expensive than getting a taxi from outside the cruise terminal. We also prefer the flexibility ie. getting off the ship when we are ready. Taxi costs less than 50 Euros (about €48 on the meter, the price is 'fixed' by the authorities) and there are plenty of taxis waiting. There is also a tourist police in the taxi rank in case there is any problem. We have never had a problem getting a taxi from the Piraeus port to the airport and vice versa.
