Live from the Dawn 9/4/05

Forgot to let you know how the procedure "sucks". All Non-US citizen guests have to get in the Stardust Theater, the main show room of the Dawn, prior to going through the US custom & immigration. We don't have any problem with that.

 

The most idiot thing was that we had to leave the ship, went through the Custom, then got back to the ship, went down to deck #4, mixed up with US citizen guests to get out the ship and pick up luggages.

 

What a waste of time !!!:(

The prices haven't gone up on the Dawn as of last week. Jim Beam and coke $3.95 + 15%. Helmets of beer were buy 5 get one free and a Free T-shirt. Wine was the same price as last time.

I can't tell you how much I enjoyed your posts over the past few days. Hubby and I are sailing on the Dawn 11/10 and getting antsy to get back on board.

Our trip in 1/04 didn't include GSC, so we're hoping the weather will cooperate. It seems from what I've read on these boards, this stop is often missed. Also looking forward to St. John and Virgin Gorda this trip.

Once again, many thanks for the great posts. It's as if we were there! ;)
