Warm Chocolate Melting Cake Recipie

Recommended Posts

To all you cruisaholics out there who have been dying to get the WCMC off of a carnival ship, have no fear! I have found a recipe (Taste Tested and Approved) that tastes the exact same as the one on the boat!

Here it goes...

Ingredients:

4oz. semisweet chocolate

1 stick of butter

4 eggs (divided use)

3 tablespoons sugar

¼ cup flour

Directions:

1. Preheat oven to 375

2. Melt chocolate and butter in saucepan. Let cool for 10 minutes

3. In a separate bowl, whisk 2 eggs with sugar

4. Add flour to egg mixture, whisk

5. Add last 2 eggs into combination

6. Combine the egg and chocolate mixture

7. Pour batter into individual ramekins

8. Bake for 15-20 minutes (Interior will be melted)

9. Serve warm with vanilla ice cream

I found this on carnival's instagram so it is the official recipe. Hope you enjoy!

DH and I did the Chef's Table on our honeymoon and they gave us a print out of the recipe they use on board. Actually went through the process of making the cake with one of the chefs.

OOPS! Just saw that you noted it came from Carnival's Instagram. :)
