Early Saver Form-- lose stateroom?!

Hey all,

 

Just found a lower price for our balcony on Carnival.com's website. Went to submit my early saver form. Oddly, in the "website" box there was the following text:

 

"By selecting yes, if a guaranteed rate is found you will lose your assigned stateroom number. "

 

I've never seen this before. Anyone know what this means? I specifically booked on a certain floor on the Dream to avoid the Lanai noise from my balcony.

Sounds like you are about to risk giving up your stateroom for a "guarantee" room.....

 

You need to call and ask.....

I just delete that. As long as you aren't price matching to a guaranteed rate, you are fine. I have submitted at least 5 price drop forms in the last month and had no problem. Just be sure its not a guarantee rate that you are matching to.

 

Also, to add, I have been getting my approval within 15 minutes of when I submit the form.

Just delete that. As long as the lower price is not a guarantee rate you will be fine. Just submit the form.

If the lower rate is for a guarantee room, then yes you will probably lose your current room and deck assignment.
