Anyone on the Victory?

Hopefully they are all having too good a time to be on the internet and CC to report back to us on the recent refurb. Even though I would love to hear about the refurb, I have a feeling that there wont be much feedback. Seems only some carpet and minor decor touch ups happened during dry dock. I will look forward to any and all reviews when she returns from this sailing though:)

Happy Cruzin- I found it by accident while searching cabin upgrade opportunities.

Anythinggoes580- I'm sure you would know better than I. I happen to read on one particular thread here that it was stated as 1400+ cabin bathroom. I'm sure it was just a tongue & cheek type number.

They did add Alchemy & Skybox. Skybox was quite nice, it was a great place to watch the basketball finals.

I was talking to someone who said their bathroom was retiled, and they could tell because there were grout smears on the pink tile.

I saw some carpet that seemed new, but some that wasn't.

Sailed April 4th right after dry dock. Had Aft balcony cabin 8430 with the extended Balcony. Spoke to the crew and stated only additions were a new bar,(Alchemy), some new carpet in sparse locations, some new TV's in some cabins. The crew stated that Victory will not be dry docked again for 1 to 2 years. That's way to long.!!!!!! Same old pink tile in bathrooms, did not speak to anyone who had a newer bathroom. Did enjoy our over sized balcony and the food was great, pizza, ice cream, dining room. The shows were good along with the comedians. You will have a good time, the dry dock was a joke.

I'll be on her on Monday and I'll try to take lots of pix for everyone!

I'd like to hear your opinion. Sadly out of 26 cruises Carnival Victory is my least favorite ship. Please share some good things about the ship.
