q re: precruise tour/Uniworld Rhine Christmas Market Cruise

Hi All,

thanks for all of your help so far!

I booked the Rhine Christmas Market cruise on Uniworld (YAY!)

 

and we decided to do the pre-cruise tour which is Basel/Lucerne... but then we noticed that day one of the cruise is also touring Basel...

 

are the days identical in where they take you in Basel? if so, what are my options?

 

anyone with first hand experience with this?

We did the Rhine cruise with Uniworld last summer from Amsterdam to Basel on the SS Antoinette. We booked the Amsterdam precruise. So I don't know for sure since you are starting from the other end but we didn't find any duplication in Amsterdam. You will be with a Uniworld guide and will have a few included excursions and if like ours a few options if you want. We found the precruise package really great especially since we were able to make friends before boarding. We are doing a Uniworld cruise this Christmas as well but on the Maria Theresa sailing from Budapest to Passau. Have a great time
