Budget Queen Posted May 13, 2015 #2 Share Posted May 13, 2015 ]Any opinion about the glacier bay kayak and white pass railroad excursion? The White Pass RR is history loaded, scenery. There are several different options, that the details are specific and very different from the other options. Taking time to look these over, can further give you options to consider. There is no "Glacier Bay kayaking" out of Skagway??
xlxo Posted May 14, 2015 #3 Share Posted May 14, 2015 This video might answer some questions about the White Pass... Some tips... ride left side up, right side down. The narrow foot trail is just bellow the window. The other side faces a canyon wall. the train goes to different distances... summit, Fraser, and beyond. Go at least to Fraser to see the lake and many micro climates consider combo bus tours to see both sides of the Canyon (Yukon? Liarsville?) EnglishChick Posted May 15, 2015 #4 Share Posted May 15, 2015 I stood on the little platform that is at the end of each carriage. Was very cold by the time we got to the top! an enjoyable journey :)
