Yes, a bowl of fruit should be in your suite upon arrival. Your butler will replenish it as necessary.

Yes and it was replenished. There was usually one each of a strawberry, orange, pear, red apple, yellow apple, red grapes, and green grapes. (One bunch each of the last two obviously. Although the alternative would have been entertaining. Our steward used the green ones for towel animal eyes.)
