oskar95 Posted July 9, 2015 #1 Share Posted July 9, 2015 Hi gals, I just booked my first cruise ever with Fred Olsen and I am very excited! What can I expect as a young sole cruiser? How is the single cabins on Balmoral? And how many formal nights will be there be on a 5 night cruise? I apprectiate all comments! :)
Discount lovers Posted July 11, 2015 #2 Share Posted July 11, 2015 The average age of your fellow cruisers will make your holiday rather sedate, I fear. But if you are with your family and friends it will be very enjoyable as the ship is comfortable with good food. :) I can't advise about the nature of single cabins. Parsman Posted July 12, 2015 #3 Share Posted July 12, 2015 On "Balmoral" the K grade cabins are excellent. They are bigger than many of the double cabins on other Fred. Olsen ships and have big picture windows. I can recommend them.
oskar95 Posted July 12, 2015 Author #4 Share Posted July 12, 2015 Thank you both for your answers. I think I will have a great time. I am going solo but I always enjoy the company of people older than me. In fact, one of my best friends is a 43 year old woman in Southampton. I went on Anthem of the Seas with her. So I am not worried about that but thank you for your concern! :)
