spunks Posted July 18, 2015 #1 Share Posted July 18, 2015 Sorry if this has been explained, but we are planning a voyage which will debark in Dubai and our flight will not leave until that midnight. We would like to see the city, but do not know what to do with our luggage all day. Any help would be appreciated. Doug

Basically you probably have 3 choices - - store at the airport - check Dubai Airport web site for info. - book a hotel room and you can take a break before flight. - book a private tour so your luggage stay with you. Maybe others will have more suggestions as this would be our first visit to Dubai.
lilybob Posted August 1, 2015 #3 Share Posted August 1, 2015 There is luggage storage at Dubai International (DXB) in Terminal 1 and if you are flying Emirates it is located in Terminal 3. The airport also has a metro station if you want to head out to the downtown area for Burj Khalifa in addition to the taxi option for drop-off and heading out to explore. http://www.dubaiairportguide.com/dubai-airport-left-luggage-facility/ Luggage storage is available at Dubai Mall (Burj Khalifa and Dubai Fountains) for a fee, though I am not sure if the pricing is per piece so you would need to clarify this with the mall. This concierge lounge is located in "The Village" area of the mall on level G. Luggage storage is also available at Mall of the Emirates for free. And as suggested, you could also book a room at one of the hotels near the airport or along Sheik Zayed Road which would give you a place to relax and freshen up before a long flight home. Perhaps deciding on how you want to spend the day in Dubai may sway your decision of where to leave your bags.
