First time on RCCL Allure

Recommended Posts

Hi I have cruised Celebrity a few times and did a TA a few years ago on the Reflection, we had a good time but after 5 days kind of ran out of things to do.

We are booked on the 12 day Allure TA and figure we should have plenty of things to do.

The question is coming from Celebrity and going to RCCL are there things that are done differently that we need to be aware of?

We thought many of the shows on Celebrity were not the best, most of the guest lecturers were very interesting but the venues were too small.

Food was good but again after 7 days we were just trying to find something different we tried the specialty restaurants and they were OK but we are not formal dining people (for us cruising is a vacation) so the whole experience was a little much.

I am sure lots of people have cruised both but how about on a TA. The cruise only has one stop som there are 9 days at sea. Do they tend to offer the same lectures multiple times or can you watch it later on the room TV?
