Boston to Bermuda itinerary change for NCL Dawn!

Recommended Posts

Hi Everyone, I just received an email from NCL informing me of a itinerary change for Boston to Bermuda cruises aboard the Dawn. They've indicated that all remaining cruises to Bermuda this summer will arrive in Bermuda two hours later. Now arriving at 1:00pm instead of 11:00am. *** NCL!!!

I've sailed to Bermuda a total of nine times, eight with NCL from Boston and my family and I just love this vacation. The fact that they have increased the arrival time is not sitting well with me. It's bad enough that they decreased the overall port time when they replaced the Majesty then the Spirit with the Dawn and now this.

What NCL should of been doing these past several years (since the switch from the Spirit) is making arrangements with the Bermudian government to arrive two hours earlier, not *&@#ing two hours later. Not happy!

Have you considered that this could have been at the request of the Bermuda government.

Do you have any reason to believe that it was? Why would they want cruise ship passengers to spend less time in Bermuda?

According to information in the initial reports on CC (with links to local press), this was a unilateral decision by NCL.

Exactly? Sounds like a ploy so people will spend two more hours in the damn casino or buying drinks.
