Self Assist

I wonder if anyone has ever done self assist when departing the ship in a motorized wheelchair. My DH would be able to handle our luggage and I could drive the chair. I don't see a reason why we couldn't do it.

As long as your husband is able to handle the luggage there's absolutely no reason not do self assist disembarking. The cruise line doesn't care and won't stop you.
