Booking Accessible Cabins

The only cabins in the category I want to book on a Holland America cruise are handicapped accessible ones. It's past final payment date. Is there a certain length of time before a cruise when these cabins should be open for anyone to book, or should I just choose the guarantee option? (That's the way I'm leaning now.)

P.S. The ship that has available cabins for Christmas is the Zaandam. It leaves December 21 from Fort Launderdale on a 7-night cruise. The ports are Nassau, La Romala (Dominican Republic), St. Croix, and Half Moon Cay.

Well I have to say at lesat this is a better poll than the "reserving deckchairs" one at the top of the board here.

 

Maybe I'm missing something, but who really cares about a specific deck chair? I mean, just find somewhere else to sit. Problem solved.

Heck, I bring my "deck" chair with me. It's electric and can go 5 MPH :)

I think going with the guarantee would be the best way to handle it - let the cruise line decide whether or not they want to place you in that room. :)
