Carnival reception- no contracts anymore?

Recommended Posts

I was supposed to get married on the Carnival Breeze in November 2014 but we had to change the date to November 2015.

This first time we arranged everything, they had us sign a contract for the island wedding and the on-board reception.

This time they only had us sign a contract for the island wedding and told us that they have a different form for the reception. Then they sent a form that is like the entertainment form and she said we can complete it and fax it back for file purposes only, since we already paid for it.

Should I be concerned? How can I make sure they give me what I paid for? Anyone else hear this as well??

They should give you a new contract since your previous contract was for the November 2014 cruise. However, if nothing has changed (times and entertainment is still the same), then maybe they do not think you have to do one. I would make copies of everything and if nothing else, call and ask for a new updated (new dates) contract as a preventative measure. I'd personally feel better having the updated contract especially because Carnival, as a company, changes everything so quickly.
