Loyalty Pins

I do think at one time the pins were a great idea and yes worth wearing, but with so many diamonds and above who cares. It seems like a old trend/fashion statement, much like HEAVY gold necklaces and giant rings for men.

I do remember friends who are now pinnacle, going into a D lounge and a guard at the gate, refused to honor the pins to access the lounge, stating that you can buy them on eBay and had to see the card.

"GUARD at the gate" of a Diamond Lounge? Now that's a security post that I haven't seen?

I've seen a crewmember at the entrance to a lounge being used as an overflow many times. We just recently had our SeaPass cards checked on the first night in the EN CL by the bar server, after we had used the card to open the door.
