What is the actual inaugural/Christening like?

For those who have ever done the official inaugural/Christening on a Norwegian ship, what is the event like?

 

I know for the Escape it is a two night sailing to familiarize one with the ship, but what events do they do on the ship?

 

Do they have samples at the restaurants? What about the entertainment? Any sort of item giveaways or charity auctions.

 

Do you meet the Godmother(s) or any special guest entertainment?

Sure, there are free goodies and samples, but the whole point is for those who are invited to report back to clients and promote the ship. There's a whole agenda planned out by NCL. The bulk of the people invited are travel agents, media, or otherwise connected to the industry.
