La Quinta Miami Airport

We booked this hotel through the internet for $50 per night, says it has a shuttle to/from airport, has anyone stayed and if so any comments?

We stayed there the day after our very first cruise on the Norway in 1989. (I remember watching the first Batman movie. HA HA) It was an okay place to stay, but there wasn't anything around it, really. At the time, there was a McDonald's type place next door and a Howard Johnson's across the street, but that's it. It's also at the far corner of the airport from the freeway to the port, so a free shuttle would be beneficial over a taxi from that area.
