Is cabin 6058 really that noisy?

I'm sorry to ask such a specific question - but I'm a bit worried and I'm sure CC members can help to decide.

I have just booked ( put on hold) a V2 cabin on the Journey. Only cabin 6058 on port side and 6067 on starboard side were left to choose from. As I'd prefer port side because we then would have more afternoon and evening sun during our cruise we chose 6058 but the sticky about Azamara cabins gives information about noise issues in that cabin.

The second cabin available is directly above the Discoveries Lounge which might have noise issues as well??

So has anybody stayed in 6058? The sticky states a thumping noise in the wall next to the cabin and slamming doors below.

Thank you for your help.

Hi,

I love and always request cabin 6060. I never have any noise and it is so convenient to steps/elevator. I can't imagine 6058 being any different. My friend always requests 6065, 6067 or 6069

Always take your wax ear plugs along on a cruise. You never know when unexpected noise will become an issue.
