Private Guide Recommendation?

It looks like my husband and I will be traveling to Barbados aboard Adventure of the Seas in February/March of next year. Typically we try to hire private guides in port. My husband is an avid photographer and loves to visit waterfalls, scenic vistas, historic cities, beaches (for photographs, not to hang out), etc. We have been to the island once before and took a ship sponsored tour, so we would like to go the private route this time. Has anyone used a private guide on Barbados? Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated.
