Just back from Breakaway

We had one of our best vacations ever. Great large balcony cabin. Crew were all amazing. Food was good. Bermuda was perfect. We had the ubp and loved it. We loved the ropes course also. Any questions?

We've been on the ship once before, as well as the Getaway. I love both ships with the outdoor dining. I was just wondering how it was with the recent dining changes. We are sailing three weeks from today.

We liked all the dining choices. The Manhattan room is very old style with live entertainment, which we loved. It can be very loud with talking depending on where you sit though. Taste and Savor just differ a bit in decor. They are both beautiful. O Sheehans is also nice. I love a good pub. We didn't try the noodle bar as it is connected to the casino and very smoky

I did not see anyone left behind. We got off the ship at around 9. I am not sure when they started letting people off

We also just returned today. We purchased the unlimited usage plan (work :() which is $24.99 per day and must be purchased for the entire length of the cruise - $174.93 total and is available for purchase until 10:00 pm on the 2nd day of the cruise.

 

They also have:

Pay as you go for 0.59/MB @ $0.59 per MB

Sampler for 25 MB $12.00/$0.48 per MB

Small for 100 MB $29.00/$0.29 per MB

Medium for 300 MB $59.00/$0.20 per MB

Large for 1000MB $125/$0.13 per MB

 

We totally enjoyed our time on the Breakaway and in New York. Have a great cruise!

Thanks Pat. Wow that's expensive. Was on the Oasis of the Seas in July. Unlimited package was $14/day and second device 1/2 price. So my daughter and I had unlimited wifi for $21/day for both of us. Might just buy a couple of minutes just to check in at home periodically (going without the kids this time;))

Wasn't on the cruise but the best time to hit these or any other interesting ship activity is while everyone else is off the ship in port.

Wondering when the best time to purchase an internet package would be.

Do I just go to the Internet cafe when I get on board & purchase a package -or a different way?

 

I've only cruised one other time & didn't need one -but am thinking I do this time.

 

Also- did you happen to see a water package available to buy? On our Jewel cruise we were able to buy a case of water for the week & it worked out perfectly. Just wondering if you noticed if one was available.
