Cancellation insurance??

What does everyone think about cancellation insurance? It seems we buy insurance everytime we turn around:(.

We are a family of 4. All healthy for now.

Any thoughts??

I always get insurance. I was leaving 10/2 with my sister and parents. Well, I'm not going now because my otherwise very healthy husband came down with a very serious illness. We will all be getting $1,100 back. It doesn't have to be one of the travelers who becomes ill. Are your parents healthy? Would you have to cancel if one of them becomes ill? We've always used Travelex but have heard good reports about the other insurance carriers.
