borcherk Posted September 28, 2015 #1 Share Posted September 28, 2015 Has anyone used them before? They say they have a private lagoon and with younger children and it being a first time we thought it sounded like a good deal but sometimes that makes me nervous. Does anyone have prior experience with the Dive St. Kitts operator?

paul58 Posted March 16, 2016 #3 Share Posted March 16, 2016 (edited) Dive St Kitts has been operating in St Kitts for years. They are based at Bird Rock Beach Hotel. Not a diver but have seen them on the water for years. Edited March 16, 2016 by paul58
elaine5 Posted March 16, 2016 #4 Share Posted March 16, 2016 (edited) FWIW, for kids and 1st time snorkeling, I really recommend shore snorkeling with a pool noodle. Getting in the water from a boat is scary. My 11 yr olds did not like it at all, even though we were at an amazing place in St. Thomas with a great staff. I realized that practicing from land in a non-wavy bay would have been so much better, even if they only saw a few fish. I would ask about waves and how you get into the water.
