G.M.T. Posted October 7, 2015 #1 Share Posted October 7, 2015 Here is Passau it has been raining steadily for the last 12 hours, we also have a weather warning about heavy rain for the next 24 hours. The Danube in Passau has risen abot 30 cm (don't worry no chance of high water levels. as the Danube is till below normal levels. It has been raining in the Alps, so the Inn will also be carrying more water, which means that downstream from Passau, the current situation should improve over the neyt 1 to 2 days. Upstream, between Passau and Regensburg the water has risen a bit around Straubing, but it is still low, don't know if it is enough to allow ships to sail through. G.M.T. Posted October 8, 2015 Author #5 Share Posted October 8, 2015 Passau to Budapest. How does that stretch look? And, thanks for the update. Hope you're having a great trip. I was in Passau this morning, there the Danube level is back to normal. Going downstream from Passau to Budapest is looking much better, not nearly so many ship swaps as there are going upstream from Passau. PS. I'm not on a trip, I live near Passau.:D
