Verdanza Hotel?

Has anyone heard of or stayed at The Verdanza Hotel? I tried Priceline hoping to get the Embassy Suites and got this one instead. I've never heard anything about it. I've looked at Trip Advisor, but wondered if anyone here is familiar with it?

Hey there!

My DH and I usually stay it this hotel. It is close to the airport, but not too close. It is a block and 1/2 from the beach! There is nice pool and play area fr the kids. There is no casino, but there are some close. There are restaurants in the hotel and close by. There is a Walgreens about 3 blocks away and a grocery store close by as well, in case you need to pick up something.

We have it booked for our upcoming vacation in November! We have always enjoyed our stay at Verdanza and it is only about a 15 minute cab ride to the ship! The staff are amazing and will take good care of you!

Enjoy your trip! :):)

Hubby and I stayed at the Verdanza a few years ago. It's a decent hotel. I didn't care for our room (they were upgrading when we stayed). The grounds and lobby are beautifully decorated.

The Embassy Suites is down the block and across the street. Less than a 5 minute walk. The beach is a block away (across the street). There is a Walgreens and grocery store within walking distance.

Thank you both for putting my mind to rest. I was pretty worried about where we were staying. The last few times we've stayed in Condado so am curious how it compares to that area. Thanks again for your quick responses.

Happy Cruising!

Hey Valerie,

We stayed there last November 2 nights precruise and loved it! If you booked on Priceline you probably got a really good deal, I know I did because we booked again for 3 night precruise Oct 28th through Oct 31st. Service is wonderful and everything is really close by. Spent a lot of time at Embassy Suites next door gambling, and then headed out to the main drag where the beach is and other more expensive hotels, and that's the area that you can catch a bus downtown for .75 per person to Old San Juan. We have stayed many times in the Condado and prefer Isla Verde, jmo.

Any other questions, just ask and enjoy your stay!
