They probably charge the fee for printing to cut down on abuse by some people printing off their business proposals or travel books (see post #6)

 

When people start abusing the system then it hurts everyone so changes are made

It might make more "cents":rolleyes:

for Oceania to offer free printing on boarding passes only.

The cruisers who want to print extra things like port guides could still pay by the page to do that.
