Bacardi Distilery- Prepurchase Tickets?

We're planning to visit the Bacardi Distilery via ferry. I see on their website that you can now pre-purchase tour tickets. I have no idea what tour time to purchase!? Our ship is expected to dock at 8am. I heard the ferry runs every half hour. I'm guessing 11am might be a safe time to reserve?

Is pre-purchasing tickets necessary?

Our ship leaves at 4pm. I was hoping to have lunch at Barrchina after the tour. Possible?

Thanks!

I agree with wiping the Bacardi Tour off of your plans.

It will take up a majority of your day, and you'll regret it.

There are so many other things to do in San Juan.

Yes you get 2 free drinks from the tour, but they barely wet your throat as they are so small.

The tour is boring and a lot of watching videos.

Nothing really interactive.
