Verandah question on Nieuw Amsterdam

We have never sailed on this ship before. We are going with friends and have booked verandah cabins next to each other (category VD on Deck 6). Is there a possibility of being able to open a partition between the two cabins so that we have one larger verandah?

Yes, ask your cabin steward to open and secure the divider for you.

Be aware that it only n opens enough to walk through...nearest the rail. So you still have somewhat of a barrier between staterooms.
