Time zone question

We will be in Bermuda next week for 3 days aboard the Splendor. Does Carnival stay on ships time or change to Bermuda time ? Anyone out there have any experience with this ? Thanks in advance.

Generally they stay on port time (ship's time). Any deviation should be announced in Fun Times or over PA.

 

Just take a cheap watch, set it when you get off ship. Then you know how many hours you have to return to ship.

I answered this in our Roll Call. On my Glory cruise, we DID move our clocks forward before arriving in Bermuda and back on the way home.

 

Since Carnival so rarely sails to Bermuda, what they do on Caribbean cruises isn't a good guideline for what they'll do to Bermuda.

 

Of course, just because they did it last time doesn't mean they'll do it this time but I think the people who were just on the Journeys cruise that called in Bermuda also changed their time.

 

There are a couple of threads going about that sailing. Asking there would provide more current info than from my sailing 4 years ago.
