Don't mean to be argumentative or otherwise dismissive of your opinion but this "loophole" was pointed out to us by an onboard HAL travel consultant, so IMO we are neither "gaming" the system nor jeopardizing the Carnival shareholder OBC program.

We decided to put the other cabin in daughter's name and just be happy with the $100 OBC for our cabin

is the shareholder credit treated the same way as any other OBC- just applied to account and spend as you wish
