landlady1952 Posted October 26, 2015 #1 Share Posted October 26, 2015 So our cruise in April is spending 2 days in Cabo. But on itinerary it shows 2 different times for each day in port. I assume we are staying in port overnight and will be able to get on and off ship like what is done in Bermuda on cruises? Is this correct? Anyone have any information on this? Thank you
Laurie S. Posted October 26, 2015 #2 Share Posted October 26, 2015 No, it is not. Cabo is a tender pier and the tenders do not run at night.
rhcustoms Posted October 26, 2015 #3 Share Posted October 26, 2015 We are going on a 2 day in Cabo cruise the end of November on Princess, this one is staying in port overnight and is suppose to have the tenders running through the night, we will see, if weather is bad tenders can not run. Many of the 2 day in Cabo cruises do not stay in port overnight so they can open the shops and casino, you may want to call your cruise lines to check on this. CWcruisers Posted October 27, 2015 #4 Share Posted October 27, 2015 Some are doing nighttime tender operations, Princess & NCL, but not Carnival. I'm not sure if they run all night or not, it's new. Weather in November is perfect, it's one of my favorite months.
mousey Posted November 13, 2015 #5 Share Posted November 13, 2015 How is the weather in Cabo in Dec.? Is the water warm enough to swim in or is it too cold?
CWcruisers Posted November 13, 2015 #6 Share Posted November 13, 2015 This year the water temperatures have stayed warmer than normal. Water temps in December are cooler, but still swimmable. I just spoke with a friend last night who did the NCL cruise that overnighted in Cabo. The tenders ran all night long. Lots of people took advantage of it and partied like rock stars in Cabo. The next day they were supposed to be back on board by 2, but they were still calling people's names at that point and did not depart until closer to 4. Many people having lots of fun. :D
lovevacadays Posted November 20, 2015 #7 Share Posted November 20, 2015 I've done a Princess cruise that had an overnight stay and the tenders ran until 11:30 pm.
