Yes...walk off is for those who CAN WALK OFF...that's the whole point...to get the faster folks out of your way.

As far as paying to be "escorted" TO your cabin....jeez...how hard is it to find the room you booked??? Surely, you looked at the deck plans when booking....it's pretty self-explanatory....

Wouldn't be the first time. I've seen on two or three occasions people with limited or very little mobility trying to use "Easy Walk" dragging their suitcase behind their wheelchair and making it a slow go for everyone in back of them. Tampa is the worst, they only have a escalator and ONE elevator.

Early walk off is for people who do not need assistance. YOU walk off with YOUR luggage. If you need help with luggage, you put it out the night before and retrieve at pier. Other passengers stated that there were announcements regarding Customs stopping the disembarkation process. This causes delays to the walk off people & then there are non-walk offs who decide they can go now as it should be their turn.

Whether or not I travel in a suite, I take my time, have a long breakfast & then by the time all the lines are done. I exit the ship with no lines or stress.

Just visualize thinking you are almost making progress, you've made it almost to the exit and then things get held up. People continue to come down stairs or an elevator, there is no where to go except slide into your line, now you are going slower as more crowd in. People at the head of the line are not happy being shoved back, but the late arrivers think it's great they don't have to go to the back of a line.

Didn't experience this Saturday when walking off the Getaway in Miami.

We had breakfast at 6:45. Got our luggage and got in line at 7:20.

Was off the ship at 7:35 and at the Miami airport before 8 am.

Very painless so it isn't fleetwide.

Exactly! Sunday there was an issue with customs and even though they make announcements people still get on the lines & try to push their way through. Then even though people picked "Yellow" or "Blue" or whatever, they decide they are getting off right then without waiting for their color to be called. Other people said there was a porter problem. I can't imagine being in that situation with my luggage plus having two companions with mobility issues & deal with their luggage too!
