Carnival Conquest - Cabin 1389 & casino smoke

Just back from Conquest and was in ocean view cabin 1389....it was really bad. On top of the noise from the engine room all night long, regardless of the hour, the entire floor smelled like sewage all week. We loved the cruise, the food was great, staff went above and beyond, and fellow passengers for the most part were really kewl and courteous, but this was definitely a hamper on our fun times. Also, they really need to do something about the ventilation in the casino...the cigarette smoke is extremely overpowering...maybe because its an older ship...not sure. But regardless, we will cruise with them again, but balcony only on a newer ship from now on.:)

They're supposedly working on a better ventilation system for the casino. No word on if or when it will be fitted to certain ships.
