We winter near Progreso and took our grandchildren to El Corchito in February, 2015. El Corchito is on the lagoon south of Progreso. I do not think there is a boat to El Corchito. I think you will have take a cab or tour bus from the bus terminal in Progreso to the entrance on the north side of the lagoon. They will ferry you 100 metros across the lagoon to the cenotes. The Yucatan State Government has just built a new tourist reception area. It was not finished when we were there, but it will improve the experience.
