alcohol policy

A question concerning alcohol policy. I have read only 21 and older can buy and/or consume alcohol on Princess. On RCI it is 18 for beer and wine at parents discretion, 21 for all other. Seems odd that the policy would not be similar on Princess. Thoughts????

I think it is 21 regardless of what type alcohol.

Policy is 21, but I don't think that slows the younger ones down much. They all somehow seem to get it one way or another.

Not sure why you expect the policies to be the same....Princess and RCI are different companies, with different policies. Princess chooses 21, perhaps because that is the legal limit in the US. RCI chooses 18 for beer and wine, which matches the legal limit of many of the ports/countries visited. These are foreign flagged ships, not US soil.
