pharmSCgirl Posted January 20, 2016 #1 Share Posted January 20, 2016 Ok, after thinking long and hard about what kind of room I want to stay in for a November cruise on the Sunshine I have decided to save money and go with an interior room. I want to be on the lido deck (deck 9) and have noticed that there are 2 different interior rooms. I was wondering if anyone had pictures of the square rooms or a picture of the layout. I have only been on one cruise and stayed in a balcony cabin so I know that this is going to be different, but I like the thought of saving money and being able to spend it elsewhere. People say they sleep great in interior cabins. Sorry to ramble, just hoping to make the right decision. Thanks in advance!
Pooh72 Posted January 20, 2016 #2 Share Posted January 20, 2016 We were in the square interior room on deck 6. (Room 6193) I'm not sure how similar the rooms are to the ones on deck 9. We really loved this room. It was much larger than the rectangular interior room my sister had on deck 7.
pharmSCgirl Posted January 20, 2016 Author #3 Share Posted January 20, 2016 Thank you so much for posting the pics! It looks more spacious than the regular rooms. I'm guessing the bathroom is a standard cabin bathroom. Was there a safe in the room?

I'm guessing the bathroom is a standard cabin bathroom. Was there a safe in the room? Yes, the bathroom was the standard size. There is a safe in the room. The safe required a four digit code. ATL_Miami_Cruiser Posted January 21, 2016 #5 Share Posted January 21, 2016 Also look into a 4J cabin. It's normally only a few dollars more than an interior but cheaper than an ocean view. You get a window overlooking a public deck. Well worth it IMO
pharmSCgirl Posted January 24, 2016 Author #6 Share Posted January 24, 2016 Thanks ATL! I will look into those. I see you were just on a cruise in November. How was the weather? The cruise I am taking is going to the same places you went to and is in November. I have been worrying about the weather. Thanks!
bakersdozen12 Posted January 24, 2016 #7 Share Posted January 24, 2016 Looks like there was no sofa. Is that typical for interior rooms, or unique to the square shaped interiors?
pharmSCgirl Posted January 24, 2016 Author #8 Share Posted January 24, 2016 That's a good question bakersdozen12. I was just wondering the same thing. Although not having one is not a big deal to me.
