BIG_Steve Posted January 25, 2016 #1 Share Posted January 25, 2016 Anyone how much the cost is for a taxi from the ship to Bacardi? And would there be any cabs waiting outside Bacardi for the ride back? Thanks.
luv2camp04 Posted January 27, 2016 #2 Share Posted January 27, 2016 I just got some information on this. Are you docking in Old San Juan. If so, there is a ferry terminal next to where you're docked . Take a ferry over ( about 50 cents per person) and then there will be buses available to take you to Bacardi. Pretty inexpensive that way
msmayor Posted January 30, 2016 #3 Share Posted January 30, 2016 Anyone how much the cost is for a taxi from the ship to Bacardi? And would there be any cabs waiting outside Bacardi for the ride back? Thanks. As the previous poster said, much easier to take the ferry...after exiting the ship go to the left toward the ferry pier. Its $0.50 each way per person. Once you leave the ferry, just walk outside the terminal and there will be people asking if you want a taxi to Casa Bacardi. It was $3pp in a shared van taxi out to Bacardi; not a long trip. We did our tour plus an add-on tasting and relaxed under the pavilion to enjoy our free drink. There is a taxi stand right in the parking lot next to the pavilion; you just wait there and the taxis pull up for the trip back to the ferry terminal. Taking a taxi from the port to Bacardi is possible, but its a longer trip because you have to drive around the bay.
