JFK to Bayonne / Newark Airport?

I am looking for some advice on how to get from JFK to the Embassy Suites Hotel near Newark Airport, the night before our cruise in July. We land at JFK at 4PM on a Wednesday, and will need to clear customs. We are a family of four and will have luggage. We are not looking for a complicated bus to tram to train to train to bus to shuttle type scenario, but we are also hoping not to spend all of our vacation money before we even get on the ship.

 

The Embassy Suites has a shuttle from Newark Airport to the hotel. But, does anyone have advice on how to get from JFK Airport to Newark Airport (or potentially direct to the hotel)?

Be sure to give them an accurate passenger and luggage count when making your reservation. With 4 passengers and luggage you'll need at least a mini van.Expect that to cost about $125 to $150 plus tolls and tip...about $175 to $200 all in.
