jolly_cruiser Posted February 1, 2016 #1 Share Posted February 1, 2016 Hello All, Anybody done this Tour in Mazatlan? It includes a Salsa making class and a brief Salsa dance class....this is at one of the resorts and there is some time afterword in the shopping area. Any input on this tour would be useful. Thanks in Advance.
tonit964 Posted February 5, 2016 #2 Share Posted February 5, 2016 We did this in Cabo San Lucas a few years back. While we enjoyed it, we thought it was overpriced ( $99.00 ) for what you get. They gave you the salsa making ingredients for two people, not individually. I don't know if it's still that way. They had all you want margaritas and hibiscus tea but margaritas were mostly lime juice. They provided cheese quesadillas and little taquitos to eat with the salsa you made. Not enough in my opinion, for the price. You made 8 salsas and by like the 4th or 5th one, it was pretty much the same thing and got boring, to us anyway. After that, they cleared the area for dancing which was a blast! You might be able to find info on line about it.
Luvmyrotts Posted February 10, 2016 #3 Share Posted February 10, 2016 We also did this one recently and I thought it was a great time. Little appetizers were good, Salsa's were good. Dancing was fun and use of the facilities at the hotel for about an hour was nice also. I think it was worth the $. Pat
Kimmer727 Posted February 10, 2016 #4 Share Posted February 10, 2016 (edited) I did this with 3 other people in Mazatlan and it was terrific. I would definitely do it again. The salsa was really good and the appetizers they served were delicious. The margarita's were strong - and kept flowing - you learned how to make those too. We used the pool after the class- and it was really nice. I would do this excursion again. :D Edited February 10, 2016 by Kimmer727
