Playa Mia ala carte food & drinks

Has anyone been to Playa Mia recently and ordered food & drinks ala carte instead of having the all inclusive package? If so, can you let me know the cost of food & drinks (even better if someone has a picture of the menu or knows where I can find one).

I found a picture from 2013, but I am wondering how much prices/selection have changed since then.

We are considering doing this package rather than the all inclusive, but wondering if that is a wise decision.

Not sure if you'll be able to open and zoom in on my menu photos, but I recently visited February 2016 and took photos of their Al a Carte menu from the Beach Buffet. You can book your passes online

What did you think of Playa Mia? Have you been to other places in Cozumel? How does it compare?

I've done a few All Inclusive Resort Day Passes in Cozumel.

I thought the staff at Playa Mia was very friendly and welcoming. I liked that they had several shops there to do a little shopping. Also taxi's were already waiting there when I was ready to head back to the ship. No lines for the waterslide, and it was not at all crowded. The beach itself is not as shaded as some would like, but that would be the only thing they could critique. I also like that they offer many different Day Pass packages and the "Add On" features are very reasonable.

How does payment work when ordering food and drinks a la carte? Do they handle it like a tab while you are there where food and drinks are kept track of together, or must drinks be paid for as they are ordered, and food ordered and paid for separately?
