scgirlie Posted October 10, 2005 #1 Share Posted October 10, 2005 We are planning our first RCCL cruise July 2006. We have only sailed Carnival before. We were wondering if anyone has the ship newspaper of events? Carnival has Capers they put out each day. We will be sailing on Mariner of the Sea. We have heard it's a great ship!! We are so excited about this cruise!!

Tyler80 Posted October 10, 2005 #3 Share Posted October 10, 2005 Royal Caribbean's daily planner is called the Cruise Compass. You can find a sample of it by clicking here http://www.royalcaribbean.com/content/pdf/CruiseCompass.pdf Since each ship has a different itinerary and has different things onboard, no two planners are alike. It gives daily hours of bars and special events that will take place that day. It also lists live entertainment of the day, what the dress is for the dinner that night and information regarding the port you'll be visiting. JBoshears Posted October 10, 2005 #4 Share Posted October 10, 2005 The Mariner will have the Cruise Compass. It is simply a daily paper of activities, meal times, spa times, etc. It will have everything you need to know. Make sure you read it daily so you won't miss any of the fun! Happy Sails! trish1c Posted October 10, 2005 #5 Share Posted October 10, 2005 We were wondering if anyone has the ship newspaper of events? You will have a Cruise Compass delivered each night. Occasionally people post them on the boards. Try doing a search. When your Q asked about newspapers, I thought you were serious. They do have a synopsis of the NY Times in the library every day but it's not very informative. Most ports have some US newspapers but they are not always current.
