I read a water pipe broke last week on CB and flooded about a dozen rooms on Dolphin deck. We are in room 510 on Dolphin deck does anyone know if that room was affected?

Hey Jimbo. We had one of the flooded cabins (D517). I do not think your cabin was affected as the pipe break was on the other side of the ship. Even if it was, it wouldnt be an issue now. Princess generally had this taken care of the first day. We did hear a few complaints of some damp spots, be we didnt see it. Enjoy your trip.

An interesting bit of trivia – the “pipes” are actually flexible conduits which allow for them to be bent and twisted throughout the superstructure of the ship. Bet dollars to donuts the break was caused by someone putting something they shouldn’t have in the system…that’s why the warnings about NOT doing that.

Many moons ago, we were on little Golden Odyssey when a water pipe let loose. Some minor flooding - but no big deal, although it was necessary to replace some carpeting.

Yes, over the many years of my life, I have noticed that there is a difference between water and sewage lines!
