Local tours available in Australian and Bali ports

Having only done European and Caribbean cruises previously I wondered if anyone could tell me if there are local tour operators in the ports offering tours. In Caribbean ports they were everywhere so wondered what these ports may be like? Can anyone give example tour costs.

In some ports yes. Bali is an example of that.

 

With that said, I would do the research up front and try to book tours from home.

 

Trip Advisor is a great resource as are the Ports Of Call Boards.

If you mean people meeting the ships and offering tours on the spot, no, do not count on that in Australia.
