Update on Wireless Internet Service?

Does anyone know what the status is on rolling out wireless internet access on Silversea's ships?

I wrote to Silverseas directly to find out the answer to this question. They won't be upgrading the Whisper until it is in Dry Dock on December 8th. Thought I'd share the news with any of you who are interested....

Is internet available in a separate computer room? Next week will be my first Silversea voyage and assumed there would be internet wireless aboard the Whisper.

Yes, there is a fairly good-sized computer room, and most of the time, the system works. I cannot recall the cost, but it's not bad considering you don't have to leave the ship.

On Shadow there was a very nice computer room. Problem was it took 3-4 minutes to load a page as the system was absurdly slow. I understand this can be the result of geographic location, but I opted to find internet cafes in ports with faster and less expensive service. We just returned from a trip on Crystal Symphony and their system was very fast but their pricing structure is a bit bizarre.
